The Thunderbird team will climax the open house activities with their aerial performance over the lightline at 3 p.m. High School bands from Ben Lomond, Clearfield, Davis, Roy and Weber will perform at the open house at seperate times during the day. They will be complimented by the appearance of the U.S. Air Forcer Academy Wild Blue Country band. The band is a country and western group portraying the heritage of American culture, through their music. State and local officials will join with - MARKET "Open to Public' Featuring New & Collectables: Air Force leaders in special ceremonies to commemorate the contributions made to the nation's defence by the base in partnership with Utah citizens in the last 40 years base officials said. Displays and demonstrations from the aerospace industry will be featured on the flightline and in the huge maintenance hangers during the day. Hill gates will open at 9 a.m. so that visitors will have time to examine displays from more than 50 civilian companies and about 40 different aircraft from military services and civilian souces. Among the civilian aircraft on display will be some of the Confederate Air Force antique aircraft from Harlingen, Texas. There is no charge for admision or for any of the demonstrations.
