Golden Spike Theater Plans Three Musicals Weber State College, in cooperation with the Utah Arts Council, is sponsoring three stage musicals during this years Golden Spike Musical Repertory Theater. The three shows, Godspell, The Boyfriend and The Sound of Music, alternate performances through the first week in August, with one production each Thursday, Friday and Saturday night beginning at 8 p.m. each night. Godspell, directed by Jonathan Gochberg from Wiscon A lt ' sin, is an overview of the gospel according to St. Matthew. It illus- trates the basic events in Jesus life as well as his parables through dialogue, song and dance. Thomas West, a visiting director from New York City, is directing The Sound of Music.
