BOUNTIFUL 'Go-Ahea- During the summer months, snow cone vendors will greet shoppers at sever- al Bountiful shopping centers. The vendors will be seated in small booths similar to the Fotomat booths, Scott yan Leeuwen told the Bountiful City Council. The booths will have to be located in commercial areas, Reed Boothe, city planning director, told the council, and Van Leeuwen would have to receive permission from property owners to locate booths on their property. Van Leeuwen said he was considering locating the booths at several shopping centers. He mentioned the Five Points Mall, the Smiths 533-966- 2. 298-175- d' Food King on Orchard Drive and the Alpha Beta store as possible sites. He said the snow cones would, be made of a snow-lik- e substance rather than ice. The booths, will be large enough to fit one person to operate the booth and will be open during three months of the year in the summer, he said. Boothe said the booths would not be large enough for restrooms, but that that provision in the building code would need to be waived. The council passed a motion to give Van Leeuwen permission to locate the booths in the Bountiful area. Roy Man Named To Position HILL AIR FORCE BASE Lynn S.
