As an active member of the EDS Church, Bob held numerous positions. lie served in the Scouting program for over 20 years and was awarded the Silver Beaver. lie served In the U.S. Navy during VWII. He was a builder and respected member of the community his entire life. He is survived by his wife, Annie of Castle Dale, and children: Jon (Cindy) Judd of Castle Dale, Barbara (Kimball) Rasmussen of Orangeville, Jeanine (Ed) Thompson of Huntington, laul (Barb) Judd of Steamboat Springs, CO.; grandchildren and le was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers, and three 1 1 1 great-grandchil- 1 sisters. Funeral services conducted by Fuu-se- tt Mortuary of Castle Dale were held on Erl., Nov. 17, 2XX), at 1 1 a.m. in the Castle Dale Stake Center. Burial was at the Castle Dale Cemetery Welcome Home, Muma! On November 22, Thelma Johnson, our lalovcd mother, sister, friend, and grandmother to all, majestically returned to her heuvcnly home und the loved ones there. She was 71 pose. was extremely gentle und loving to all those she cumc in contact with. Even complete strangers got a dose of her love and compassion. She never hesitated to tell others how lxauliful they truly are. She tackled her illness w ith dignity and grace. She quickly becume a favorite of any doctor's office she had to visit. We thank all those who loved und cared for her. She is promded in death by her husband Douglus, and daughter, Jill, and survived by sons, Bryant, his wife Margi, Kimball, his wife Toni, Shuun, his wife Sundy, Jured, Mom yeursold. Her life is a tribute und inspiration to all who knew her. Tlielmu ferociously enjoyed life. We could not help but Ik caught up with her in her love for all the around us. We were always proud to claim that our Mama wus a true blue coal miner's daughter. And like her father, her strength and endurance was extraordinary Thelma passed away battling colon cancer, a result of Downwinders, which ulso claimed her husband with Leukemia in 1!)78. This also afflicted her with Thyroid cancer which took her bcuutiful voice at age 45. She endured her laryngitis" for the remainder of her life.
