ELDER GERBER ELDER TAYLOR Elder Robert Arthur Gerber, son of Arthur and Alice Gerber has accepted a mission call to the South Africa, Johannesburg Mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center on Sept. Elder Stuart J. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse L. Taylor, Farmington, hasaccepted an LDS mission calling and will serve in the Virginia, Roanoke Mission. 22. ELDER Gerber will speak in the Kaysville 9th Ward 201 S. 600 E. at 10:50 a.m. on Sept. II. Elder Gerber is a graduate of Davis High School and also a graduate of the Kaysville LDS Seminary. He has been active in leadership positions in his priesthood quorum. He attended the University of Utah and has been employed at Bowmans Market in Kaysville. She grew up in the foothills of Layton and she has lived on the Mountain Road since 1944. MRS. She seriously began painting in about 1960. She had studied under many prominent Western art instructors. MRS. CLAWSON has exhibited extensively and she has received many ribbons and awards for her art work. She n held a art exhibit at the BYU Ogden Educational Center. She had her paintings accepted by the Utah State Art Institute for exhibit in the state capitol building. e She was a member d Art of the long-tim- Layton-Clearfiel- W HILE IN scouting, Stuart earned the rank of Eagle and also the Duty to God award. Pool! Guidl and served as president of this organization. MRS. CLAWSON has always been willing to share her artistic talent with others. On many occasions she has given demonstrations and exhibits in the public schools and at church and civic functions. She has been a member of countless fine arts committees. Early in her career, Mrs. Clawson worked at ceramics decorating. She has also produced many interesting soap carvings. please others and for my own satisfaction.
