We chose to purchase homes within the Kaysville City limits, because of the small town environment, which includes a peaceful, re- laxed and quiet atmosphere. OUR FOUNDING fathers, of this fine city, had the foresight, and knowledge to set up city ordinances, which would enable residents of Kaysville, the legal priveledge, to continue to live in tranquility,, regardless of city growth and progress. A complaint was made to the city, wherein Robert Johnson was reported as owner of various animals creating a continuous disturbance. An exciting evening was held on Monday evening as the Little Buckaroo Rodeo got underway at the city park in Syracuse. The third annual event that has been sponsored by the Elders quorum of the Syracuse 3rd Ward, in con- junction with the Syracuse City Founders Day celebration, created activity and fun for all attending. THE RODEO events that commenced at 7 p.m. were announced by Braden Mann, 'and the rodeo committee was composed of Mr. Mann, Lewis Rhoades, Eldon (Mick) Spencer, Bob Thurgood and Kent Thurgood. The Rodeo judges were Michael M. Jones and Terry Enlow. Time keepers included Lewis and Cindy Rhoades and Tom and Kathy Rhoades. Sid Stoker was in charge of ticket sales. THE FLAG ceremony and national anthem were sung by Mrs. Charlotte Thurgood with Bishop Ralph Turner offering the invocation. Guests of honor were Zenas W. and Virginia S. Bennett and all cowboys and cowgirls. Rodeo events included pony bareback riding categorized in several different age groups, calf roping, calf riding, sheep races, pony bareback, candy in the hay, colt ribbon pull, and special events with wild ponies. SPECIAL guitar duets were rendered by Jim Belvins and , helnKd DJffnriBKS TO KEN JONES LYNN DUBOIS of Farming-to- n is coach of the team and accompanied them to North Carolina for the competition, np Keep Tranquility THE ROOSTER is not the only source of nuisance, as the Braden Mann. This is a restricted zoned area, which ing a belt buckle and the second and third place winners receiving a certificate. forbids farm animals and limits the number of dogs a person may own. The ordinances of Kaysville City, must be adhered to, and enforced to include all residents. A stall would only require the same space, as the area generally used to provide a large dog run! We ask the Kaysville City Council, in this open letter, to uphold the laws of our fine community, and plead for help in restoring the tranquility of our once peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Wanda J.
