She retired after 23 years at Hill AFB as an inentory management specialist. She was a member of the Ogden Christian Church, the Order of Eastern Star, Beth Arabah Chapter 24 and the Layton Fraternal Order of Eagles. SI RAISING are her father of Layton and an uncle, Harry E. Allen, Denver, Colo. Funeral services were under the direction of Lindquist with Kaysville Mortuary Ralph Elwell officiating as a representative of the First Christian Church of Ogden. Mr. Elwell gave the obituary, scripture and comments. Organist was LuAnne Welch MARJORIE ROWLAND Marjorie Juanita Allen Rowland, 59, of 1798 Hill Field Road, Layton, died July 28, 1981 at her home. She was horn March 23, 1922 in Colo., a daughter of Glen Willard and Sammie McMillen Allen. She married Robert Martin Rowland Aug. 21, 1944 in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced. Edge-wate- r, SHE WAS raised in Denver, and Harris Adams sang "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art. Care of the flowers by the Christian Women Fellowship. Pallbearers were Boyd Monsen, Dennis Nelson, Tom Allen, Dallas Monsen, Ted Yamada, and Earl Jaques. DEDICATION OF the grave by Boyd G. Monsen. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. ALSO SURVIVING are two brothers, Erasto Trujillo, Holbrook, Ariz.; Alfonso Trujillo, Price; sisters, Mrs. Victor (Maria) Miera, Kaysville; Dies At Age 62 toya, Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Dolores) Harnois, Layton; Mrs. Margaret McMan, Alhambra, Calif. Funeral services were held July 29 in the Layton Utah SHE WAS born August 25, 1918 in Bedford, Wyoming, a daughter of Robert Charles married William Hyrum Boothe in Preston, Idaho. The family prayer was given by Fred R. Trujillo; prelude music by James W. Picht; Robert VanWagenen sang In The Garden," invocation by Robert Harnois. REMARKS WERE given by Bishop Bench and a medley of favorite hymns was given by James Picht. Leo Portor was the speaker. A musical selection was given by Hams Adams and the benediction by David Workman; postlude music by Renee Picht and Marci Harding. Pallbearers were C. Wendell Picht, Steven Picht, Lance Trujillo, Cole Trujillo, Dan Schofield and Scott Horrocks. Dedication of the grave by Robert A. Harding. Interment in Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch. Kenzie W. King, Jr. three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenzie W. King, Sr. of 547 South Angel Street, Kaysville, died July 28, 1981 at the U. of U. Medical Center in Salt Lake City. He was born Nov. 2, 1977 in Ogden. HIS PARENTS are members of the Kaysville 6th Ward. Surviving are his parents, brothers and sister. Korman, Steve. Kevin, Kolton, Kris, Kody, Cindi and Kishell King, all of Kaysville; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Homan, Ogden. FUNERAL services were held July 31 in the Lindquist nipeg. Manitoba, Canada until he was 1 1 years of age w hen he News moved to Salt Lake City He was a fruit farmer before retiring. AFTER HIS marriage, he lived in Layton for 47 years. ERIC PET'I IT He moved to Desert Hot Springs, Calif, and later returned to live in Layton. He was a member of the Layton 14th LDS Ward. He had been a high priest in the Uintah, the Layton 3rd and the Palm Springs LDS Wards. He had been a ward clerk, a Sunday School superintendent, a teacher in Priesthood classes and in MIA. He had been a home teacher. He served two missions for the LDS Church, one in the Southwest Indian Mission for two years and one year in the Regional Mission in Ogden. SLRYIMNG ARE his widow of Layton; one son. Ralph Enc Pettit, Salt Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Evans, Mrs. James (Bernice Emma) Potter, both of Layton ; 24 grandchildren and 50 greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are two Kaysville Mortuay Chapel with Bishop Grant Barnes officiating. The family prayer was given by Steve Bishop; prelude and postlude by Marie Taylor; a musical selection "I Am A Child of God" by Cindi, Karen, Robin and DeeAnn, acc; by Mane Taylor; invocation by Norm W'hitaker. Remarks were given by Bishop Barnes, and Korman King gave a tribute to his brother. Bishop Low ell T ay lor was the speaker. Steven and Wendi Homan sang Home On The Range;" and Craig Taylor gave the benediction. PALLBEARERS were Steve King, Korman King, Kevin King and Kolton King. MRS. BOOTHE was a registered nurse. She was an office secretary for Bills Sheet Metal Company, a Layton firm owned and operated by her husband and children. She attended the University of Wyoming and was a graduate of nursing in Salt Lake , City. BUD WAS 53 years old and was bom June 6, 1928 in Salt Lake City, their first child and only son. He grew up in Kays- ville and attended School ALEAN BOOTHE SHE W AS an active member of the Clearfield 9th LDS Ward. Surviving are her husband of Clearfield; two sons, Michael Robert Boothe, Clinton; Gordon Craig Boothe, Clearfield; one daughter, Christine H. Boothe, Clearfield; five grandchildren. One son Dennis, preceeded her in death. ALSO SURVIVING are three brothers, Delbert C. Heiner, Glenn W. Heiner, Morris W. Heiner, all of Bedford, Wyoming. Funeral services under the direction of the Kaysville Lindquist Mortuary were held July 30. in the Mortuary chapel with Bishop 0. Wayne Thor-noc- k of the Clearfield 9th LDS Ward officiating. through sixth grade. He then moved to California with his mother and sisters to be with his father who had been called into the military service. After Pearl Harbor, when his father was sent to the Pacific War Zone, the rest of the family returned to Kaysville. Bud attended Davis High School graduating in three years instead of the usual four. HE W'AS accepted into the army specialized training program at the U. of U. and from there went to boot camp WELLS IVINS BUD" COLLETT in Texas, officers candidate school at Ft. Benntng, Ga., then engineers school at Ft. Belvoir, Md. There he received his second lieutenant commission. His overseas stretch in- cluded Japan where he accepted the offer to return to the states and finish his schooling at the U. of U, graduating in June 1951 as an electronics engineer. A TRANSFER to the General Electric plant in San Jose, Calif, came in 1956 and he worked there for the next 24 years. One of his assignments was the testing of atomic energy plants in Michigan and Italy. He served as bishop of the San Jose 10th Ward and later on the San Jose Stake High Council. He was born Feb. 16, 1906 in Alamosa, Colo., a son of Samuel and Fermina Salazar Trujillo. He married Simonita Miera June 21, 1919 in Taos, N.M. Their marriage was later solemnized, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. from Hill AFB in 1972. He had lived in Layton since 1943 and graduated from Manassa, Colorado High School in 1925. He served as a branch president of the Manassa Spanish American LDS Branch and was a stake missionary and a temple ordinance worker in the Ogden Temple. He was a member of the Layton 8th Ward. Surviving is his widow of Layton; sons, Samuel N. Tru- brothers, Arthur H.
