Show t I DAVIS NEWS JOURNAL, NORTH DAVIS LEADER, APRIL 29, 1981 WEEKLY REFLEX Kaysville Cornucopia Concert Scheduled KAYSVILLE The last Cornucopia concert of the year will be given at Kaysville Jr. High Schools choral room May 6 at 7 p.m THE EEMG will feature songs by the Kaysville Elementary School kindergarten chorus, directed by Gloria Nielsen and the high schools string ensemble under Chairman Richard NJarsden, Davis High Schools orchestra director. The public is invited at no charge, tb ' Roland Long, principal at E. G. King Elementary School, Layton demonstrates the art of painting to students. PAINTING ROTARY CHIEFS MEET and crafts. THE DECAL was designed member, Brad Beth Reid of Kaysville has been selected as treasurer of the Kaysville Swimming Pool Committee. Mrs. Reid moved to Kaysville when she was four years old and graduated from Davis High School. She received her BS degree from the U. of U. in home economics in 1965. She taught school at Sunset Jr. High School Mrs. Leola Prigmore was hostess to members of the Oakleaf Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers at her home Wednesday evening. Mrs. Betty Francom was cohostess. The lesson was given by Mrs. Lola Kinsey. The Kaysville Eighth Ward Special Interest met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Sally Higginson. William and Maniyn Bennett gave the program with a slide presentation of Iran. Mrs. Emily Barnes will entertain the Bay View Club at her home on Wednesday. May 6. Mrs. Dottie Barnes will give the program entitled "Making of W'omen Surgeon." Mrs. Lucile Sheffield will entertain the Lantern Club at a special lecture-v.emon-stratio- n to present to the stu- dents. her home on Monday afternoon, May 4 for their closmg social and luncheon. Assisting hostesses will he Mrs. Edna Parker, Mrs. Hazel Parrish and Mrs. Alice Bonnemort. Mrs. Melpha Koldewyn was hostess to the Weinel Mill DUP Camp at her home Monday afternoon. Mrs. Carma Sanders was cohostess. Mrs. Thelma Sanders gave the lesson and a history was read by Mrs. Roselyn Slade, np Vision Among the things that give a new and broader vision are travel, religion and a charge account. Times. ALSO ON the decal is a flag, waving in the breeze telling all that Kaysville is a patriotic ( 'immunity; the building, shops, stores, businesses, banks, schools, factones, post office and medical clinics; the car tells us of the new influence and progress coming into our area. The bold letter K, our strength of commerce coming on the horion with small representing the quiet influence of our community. THE CHAMBER meets the first Wednesday morning of each month at the Barnes Bank Conference Room and they are campaigning for new mem-bet- s they encourage everyone ot the merchants to join them to work together for the betterment of the community, SHE IS married to H. Deloy Reid who is a Spanish-Enghs- h teacher at Sunset Jr. High School. They have five children. Mrs. Reid has been active in PTA and was commissioner at the Burton Elementary in 1979. She has been a Primary president and has served as stake Primary music leader. She is currently serving as a den leader and she enjoys sewing, handcrafts, sports, swimming and helping kids play soccer.
