Roxann ARTS FESTIVAL Students at Kaysvilles Burton Elementary School got a good doseage of the arts during their Festival of the Arts last week. Artists visited and shared talents from landscape and watercolor painting to caricatures, story telling, pantomime to humorous reading. Musicians demonstrated the flute, cello, accordion, bagpipes, marimba and fiddle, one day, as well. Thursday saw outdoor exhibits by artists rug-ma- l demonstrating the spinning wheel, candle-dippin.ng, leaded slab and handmade ceramics, glass, clay. Showing off quilts her quilts is Kathy Moritzen, who explains the art to eager students. Lisa Talbot was elected as studentbody president for next year in studentbody elections April 14 at Central Davis Jr. High.
