With the remodeling and renovation of the old jail fruity, the total cost w ill approach $2 million, it was explained WHEN THE upper floor of the new facility is completed, it will be used for the Utah Highway Patrol headquarters presently housed in the basement of the Davis School District Credit Union Building for the county emergency services division and the County Council on Aging. Only the UHP will lease space from the county. Completion of the upper floor is estimated to cost $289,469 and the remodeling of existing offices in the old section of the jail and renovating of the old jails will cost about $130,000, for total of a $419,000.
