Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Simmons hosted an anniversary party for their niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Morgan. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. George W. Wilcox, Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Haven J. Barlow, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Barlow, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Ellison, David Simmons. Mr. and Mrs. John Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. David Bell, Rachel Barlow and their children. An open house was held Dec. 22 at the Farmington Court House in honor of Judge Thornley K. Swan and Comm. Glen Flint on their retirement from office. The open house was hosted by employees of the Davis County Courthouse. Mr. and Mrs. Allen L. Strong will entertain at dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Todd Morgan and daughter Elizabeth of Homemade candy is a fun gift to give and to receive. Mrs. Gerissa Thompson of Murray and a former Syracuse resident, celebrated her 95th birth- dren and 21 great-- MRS. THOMPSON was born Dec. 8, 1885 in Chesterfield, Ida., the daughter of Perry and Esther Tolman Sessions. She was married to Hyrum Thompson on March 31, 1904 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
