J. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mann and son-in-la- children Howard, Marie. Rhonda and Tyler of Sepulveda, Calif, have been visiting with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mann. They came to bring their son Elder Howard Mann to enter the Mission Training Center. While they were here, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mann entertained at a family party for all of their children and grandchildren. Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Reed Mann and family of Roy; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Day and family, Kaysville; Mrs. David Mann and two children, Jennifer and Melinda, also of California. Visitors on Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Johnson were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gibson and family of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Vonda Jones of Salt Lake City. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jay M. Adams were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Bennion and family, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Bennion, all of Ogden. They celebrated the birthdays of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Bennion. led to receive their first letter from their son and daughter-in-laDean and Shelli Hunger after their arrival in Italy. Dean will be playing professional basketball for Pentinox and they will be there for nine months. His wife accompanied him with the team. They are at Breska, Italy. The Hungers are excited for Dean and hts new career, as well as all the people in this area. Mrs. Richard Casdorph flew to Ledyard, Conn, to be with their daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Porter for the arrival of their first child. A son was born to Craig and Virginia on Aug. 8 to be named Sterling Casdorph. Mrs. Casdorph stayed two weeks to help with the new addition and her husband joined her for the last five days. They returned home together. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cammack and their family, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Cammack and son Weston of Vernal, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cammack and three children of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Robin Bamum and two sons of Kaysville and Mr. Cammack's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Cammack of Wisconsin all attended the Rulon and Desa Cammack family reunion at Belmont Park in Box Elder County over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Simmons and their grandchildren Sarah and Joshua Watkins attended the Shakespearean Festival at Cedar City last week. Mary Ellen Clark, Michele were former missionaries. Guests were Mrs. Virginia Butter, Mary Jane Risen, Wendy Marshall and Mark, Michelle and David, Dale Stoker, George Butler, Ramona Neeley and Cindy Wamick. Also Cathy Guest from Nova Scotia. Donald Bell of Shiprock, New Mex. will be making his home with the Richard' Cas- dorph family during the school. Donald is on the Indian Placement program and is 16 years old and is a junior student at Davis High. Val Durrant of Kaysville and his grandmother Mrs. Chloe Thacker of Heber City and Mrs. Chloe Slade of Kaysville attended the funeral service of a cousin LaMar Thack- er at Vernal on Monday. Brent Yeates of Virginia was a visitor on Friday of Mr. and Mrs. DeLoy Reid and family. Julian Pace of Sacramento, Calif, visited with his mother Mrs. Helen Johnson while in Utah on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and family vacationed for one week in Yellowstone National Park. Thursday evening a potluck dinner vwth homemade ice cream was enjoyed by all. Thirty members of their immediate family grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crook-sto- n left Sunday morning for California where they were to attend the funeral service of her brother. Dee Rentmeister at Merced, Calif. Dee was a former Kaysville resident and was bom and reared in Kaysville. He is remembered by many in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kirby and their family, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Polhamus of Sandy attended the funeral service of Mrs. Kirbys brother, Victor Rasmussen on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Clarkston. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Godfrey also attended the funeral service. Mr. Rasmussen was a cousin of Mr. Godfrey. Mrs. Roetta Horsley underwent major surgery Thursday at the Davis North Medical Center in Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence attended. Casper G. Carroll underwent major surgery this week at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. House guests of Mr. and Mrs. Casper G. Carroll was Deborah Schow of Redwood Paulsen of Fruit Heights. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Flint and children Jennifer and Zachery of Mountain View, Wyo. has spent the past three weeks in Kaysville with his parents, City, Calif., and Krista son, David Paul born to them on Aug. 25. They have now returned to their home in Wyoming with their children. Col. and Mrs. L.M. Neuber-ge- r and three sons Todd, Greg and Chad of San Antonio, Tex . were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. Preece. They have been visiting with relatives in Utah for ten days. J.B. Flint of Carmichael, Calif, recently visited five days with his brother and sister-in-laMr. and Mrs. David Flint. Allen in Kaysville and also with her parents in Ogden and other relatives and friends in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Veri A. Walker a'tended the Davis North Medical Board meeting and retreat at Park City. Mrs. Walker is a member of the board of trustees. The meetings were held Friday and Saturday in Park City. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schofield and daughter Taryn are delighted to have an American Field Service student arrive to live with them during the coming school year. She is Miss Rika Inkura from Japan. She arrived on Friday, Aug. 15. She is 16 years old and w ill be a junior student at Davis High School. Mrs. Schofield and daughter Taryn entertained at a party at their home in honor of Rika as a party for ten guests. Mrs. Dorothy Lotz left for Redlands, Calif, to help with the new arrival of a grandson Gregory born Aug. 15 to Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lotz. She will spend a few weeks before returning home.
