Orilla Galloway Honored On 80th Rites Performed On Jan 12. 1980 Ruth J. Gallegos became the bride of Joseph W. Wood during a ceremony performed in the Spanish Assembly of God Church in Ogden. Mayor Lewis G. Shields, mayor of Layton, officiated at the ceremony. The bride wore a Chantily iace gown over satin with a long train and crowned veil. Her maid of honor was Debra Finn and bridesmaid was Mary Gallegos. They wore long dresses of hot pink and wore wide brimmed hats. Elder Jay Phillip Kunz. son of Dr. and Mrs. Phillip Kunz of Provo, has received his mission call to serve in the German Frankfurt Mission. His farewell will be held Jan. 20 in Provo and he will enter the Mission Training Center on Thursday..
