Collett were her two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Walker of Reno, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. J. Graydon Robinson of Kanab; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dyke and children of Baker, Ore. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson have been called to serve on an LDS mission to the Alabama Burningham Mis- sion. They will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on Dec. 6. They enjoyed a family reunion for this special event. Mr. and Mrs. Dyke were in Twin Falls, Ida. to attend a basketball tournament in which their son was playing, they then drove to Kaysville to see their mother, Mrs. Walker, and to visit other relatives. Miss Julie Stenquist, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ; Leland Stenquist, played in a piano recital on Nov. 18 in Salt Lake City at the studio of her instructor, Mrs. Lucille Bernhope Swenson. Her children are hosting the family dinner and party in honor of their mother. 191 living. They include Mrs - Mr. and Mrs. Martin C. (Annie) Hardy were honored at a family dinner on Nov. 10 'tor their 65th wedding an- niversary. There were Lowell (Elizabeth) Hamblin Mrs. Calvin (Oleen) Baker Mrs. Darrell (Virginia) Frazier; Raymond Hardy, all of Layton; Mrs. Josephine 68 'family members in attendance. Taylor, Heber Hardy, both of Mrs. Paul Kaysville; (Catherine) Willey, Center- y .' MR. AND Mrs. Hardy were married Nov. 11, 1914 in LWylliesburg, - marriage was ville and Amos Hardy, Delta. Mr. Hardy worked as a farmer and was later employed at Hill AFB. He retired from Hill Field. .. Mrs. Hardy has served many years as a Relief Society visiting 32 52 grandchildren; d in the Salt Lake LDS great8 dmg , Honored On 96th Year Prigmore was honored on his 96th birthday anniversary on Nov. 21, 1979 by members of his family and his friends. A former Kaysville resident, he has been making his home in Logan the past few years with his Dr. daughter and and Mrs. H.J. Milligan. Charles THEY ARE the parents of nine children, eight are still H. MR. PRIGMORE is well remembered by his many friends in Kaysville as well as throughout Davis County for his generosity and willingness to help everyone who needed a helping hand. He is an expert on plants and greenhouse life as well as landscaping which was his vocation as well as his hobby. Her early life was reminiscent of pioneer days. When she was six months old, her family moved to Wilford, Ida. near St. Anthony where they fiCA Dec. CHARLES WAS born Nov. 21, 1883 in a small country near Bedford, village England. It was in the country town of Bedfordshire, which is located some 50 miles north of London. He attended school in the Church of England, where he had to pay to attend. They were under very strict supervision from the school masters. She is a member of the Club, Kays Creek Camp of Daughter of Utah Pioneers and the Book of Mormon Study Group in Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stenquist and family were holiday dinner guests in Salt Lake City of Mr. and Mrs. Stenquist at a family dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn B. Niederhauser and their two children were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Lynns parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Niederhauser. The event was . the birthday anniversary of Lynn. Mr. and Mrs. David Sanders and son Mark returned from Vancouver, had the McDonald Candy Co., Roof Garden and the Naval tober the same year. They were married by Henry H. Blood and both joined the LDS Church and were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 58 years. Mrs. Prigmore died in Feb. 1968. WHEN HE first arrived in Utah from England on May 31, 1910, he lived with an uncle, James Smith of Kaysville. He Nov. 23 -- Dec. 3rd Thurgoods Mkt. 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Bri- tish Columbia, Canada, where they spent the Thanksgiving holiday as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Convention and also spent time sightseeing. Mr. and Mrs. Don Cottrell returned from a week in Phoenix, Ariz. and at LaJolla, Calif. The trip was for their 25th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Lois Stephens was a guest at Thanksgiving Day dinner in Bountiful at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Mr. and Mrs. Jim Woodward and all of their families. Elder Val Preece, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Preece, has received his mission call to serve in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh- LDS Mission. He : will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on Jan. 31. He resides at 1081 North Bedord Dr. and is a member of the Kaysville 12th LDS - Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Ben of Fruit Heights and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Don Reed of Roy, enjoyed a week vacation in Hawaii. They stayed on the Island of Honolulu. They had the unique experience of seeing a volcano erupt. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Oakeson of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Verl Poll and family and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Warner and family all of Mountain Green. Sheffield were Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Sheffield and daughter, Sarah, of South Burlington, Vt ; Mr. and Mrs. Russell H. Sh ffield and daughter, Paula, of Bountiful; Bishop and Mrs. Beck K. Sheffield and family of Kaysville. Mrs. Lucile B. Sheffield; Mr. and Mrs. Ned B. Roueche and family were Thursday evening guests in Salt Lake City of Dr. and Mrs. Sherman B. Sheffield and family. Mrs. Lucile B. Sheffield; President and Mrs. Ned B. Roueche and family were overnight guests in Provo of Dr, and Mrs. Phillip R. Kunz, for the holiday. Mrs. Vern Butcher has returned home from Lansing, Mich, where she visited for two weeks with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Perry. She flew there to be on hand for the blessing and naming of her new grandchild who was born to the Perrys on Oct. 4 and was blessed and named on Nov. 14. Mrs. Perry will be Mrs. Olive Hume in Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Vegas on Saturday. and teaching, and I taught Sunday School classes for 50 By WANDA LUND CLEARFIELD - Au- tomobiles were still regarded as horseless buggies when Hattie Guthrie and Arvil Sessions were married 66 years ago. And most people were a little nervous about riding in the contraptions. d SO WHEN the young couple traveled to Salt Lake City for their wedding, they climbed aboard the old Bamberger train in Clearfield. There were just the two of us, Mrs. Sessions recalled, but my parents had gone to Salt Lake City a few days before to make final preparations for our wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. THE SESSIONS lived for 37 years in a little frame house, north of their present home at 562 South State, where they have lived for the past 29 years. They became the parents of four sons and a daughter: Ogden; Arvil Dale, Othello, Wash.; Stephen LaMont, Clinton; and Joseph Guthrie, who died when he was six years old. The daughter, Nina, now Mrs. Clyde Moyle Barton, lives in Monticello. The Sessions also have ten grandchildren and 24 John James, AN AVID reader, Mrs. Session has read 65 LDS Church books, in addition to other literature. She memorized 36 lengthy poems, including Thanatopsis by William Cullen Bryant, the first great American poem. 1 can still recite those poems, I Mrs. Sessions said. really enjoyed studying years. I HAD a cataract MR. SESSIONS owned and operated a farm in Eden for 17 years. He also owned a gravel pit in South Weber, which he sold a number of years ago. He enjoys riding his Arabian Mare, Lisa, and also keeps a little mule to help him cultivate the garden. Mr. Sessions is a son of Selina Holt and James C. Sessions and was born in Bountiful. Mrs. Sessions, the daughter of Adelia Cathrine Thurman and John I. Guthrie was born in West Virginia. She came to Ogden with her parents while still very small, and also lived in Kaysville and Clinton prior to her marriage. ALTHOUGH SHE was reluctant to tell her exact age, Mrs. Sessions said she and her husband are in their eighties." Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved to Kaysville and have lived there the past few years. Being the mother of five children, Mrs. Kneedy has enjoyed her role as a housewife, keeping a clean tidy home.
