West Point, died at Davis North Medical Center Nov. 24, 1979 following a heart attack. From Injuries master; Gayle 0. Larkins, a scoutleader. Musical selections were given by Paul and Diana Halliday and by L.J. Willis and LuAnn Lyman. The benediction was by Harold D. Wight. THE GRAVE dedication was by Grant N. Beyler. Pallbearers were Paul DeLucka, Jim Eastwood, Kenny Gravens, Jeff Hayes, Rick Jackson and Paul Nebeker. Honorary pallbearers were Joel DeVaul, and Eric Brian Iverson Rawlins. Care of the flowers by the Kaysville Seventh Ward Relief Society. Interment was in the Kaysville of Utah and Idaho. She was president of the Syracuse Hahanokai for many years. Hiroshima, Japan. He died March 27, 1964 She lived in Syracuse 6 grandchildren; from 1919 until 1965, when she moved to West Point. Donahoo of the Layton First Southern Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Bronson died Monday, Nov. 1979 at her home of 12, cancer. SHE WAS born June 8, 1932 in Clinton, 111., a daughter of Hunter Crubaugh. On July Mrs. Bronson had worked the past seven years as a cook for the Davis County schools. She had lived in Layton since 1971. She was an active member of the Layton First Southern Baptist Church and nurworked in the sery at the church. He was accidently electrocuted in an industrial accident on Nov. 23 in Salt Lake City. Monday, of Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Purdy and children of Granger; and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Van Ausdale. Mrs. Zipporah Stewart and her daughter Mrs. Mary MR. ADAMS and four other Stewart Hunsaker entertained at the Hunsaker home in Salt Lake Citv at a workers were installing a concrete wall for the Cameo Construction Co. when a piece of concrete wall that was suspended by a crane hit into a power line. He was holding a metal rod that was embedded in the concrete. He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital where he died shortly after the accident. He was born May 26, 1961 in Ogden, a son of Ardell and Charlene Lowe Adams. He was a resident of Layton and graduated from Layton High School and the Layton LDS Seminary. He was a member of the Layton LDS Sixth Ward and had been the tirst assistant to the luncheon on Nov. granddaughters bishop in Ramon Dayel and Kenna Evelyn White Dean. He married Eileen Harrison. They were later divorced. On March 22, 1979 he married Shelia A. Burton in Las Vegas, Nev. He was a truck driver for Hatch Co. He was raised in American Fork and Smithfield, but had lived in Fruit Heights and Layton for the past six years. He was a graduate of Skyview High School in Smithfield and attended Weber State College where he was a member of the diving team. He was a member of the LDS Church. SURVIVING are his Widow of Layton; a son, Paul Anthony Dean, Victorville, Calif.; two stepsons and one stepdaughter, Derek James Rutner, Donald Allan Rutner, Deana Afton Rutner, all of Layton; his mother of Fruit Heights. Also surviving are one brother and seven sisters, Lon Alan Dean, Kaysville; Mrs. John (Melanie) Shumway, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Monte (Rebecca) Langford, Oregon City, Ore.; Mrs. William (Wendy) Murdock, W'est Point; Mrs. John (Tamalee) Mrs. Barney, Murray; LaMont (Heidi) Wilcox, Bountiful; Jana Dean, Fruit Heights; a grandfather, Kenneth White of American Fork. She is at home convalescing. Mrs. Lucile B. Sheffield entertained at a dinner party Monday evening at her home in honor of Bishop and Mrs. Beck K. Sheffield. Don Crawley returned last week from a government business trip to Israel. Dr. and Mrs. Clyde F. Marx and children were holiday dinner guests in North Salt Lake of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Marx. Miss Ginny Parrish and a friend, Miss Julie Winkelplek of Tucson, Ariz., are visiting over the holiday with Ginnys parents Mr. and Mrs. LaMar brother, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Madsen. (Ret.) and Mrs. Dean Jeffs traveled to Bear River City tu spend Thanksgiving with their son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Jetts. Michael Snow and his fiancee, Miss Kathy Bourne, were guests for the holiday of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Snow. Mrs. Winona Thorderson entertained at Thanksgiving Parrish. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Thorson entertained at their home Monday evening, Nov. 19, in honor of their daughter Miss Janet Thorson who returned recently from serving an LDS mission to Finland Helsinki Mission. It was a combination of dinner birthdays, and the return of Janet. Several birthdays of the family are in the month of November. He was born Nov. 19, 1900 in Layton, a son of James Henry and Sarah Ann Doman Forbes. He was a member of the LDS Church. SURVIVING are three PIIDAL brothers, Elmer J. Forbes, Melvin Forbes and Merlin Forbes all of Layton. Graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 16, 1979 at the grave site in the Memorial Park. Former Resident Dies Mrs. Elizabeth Sarah Lay-toBennett, 73, died on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1979, at her home in Columbia, Mo. She was a resident of Layton until a tew years ago when the family moved to Missouri. n MRS. BENNETT was born Nov. 7, 1906 in Layton and was the daughter of William Isaac and Rebecca Rose Warren Layton. She tvas educated in the schools of Davis County and Salt Lake City. She married Thomas R. Bennett on March 21, 1947. He died on Sept. 24, 1979. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had been a member of the LDS Layton Second and Fourth Wards. FUNERAL services were held on Monday, Nov. 26, in the Columbia LDS Chapel with Bishop Jim Davis officiating. Burial was in the Springfield National tery in Missouri, vsb Ceme- Connie Miller and her two children from Phoenix, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Devon Steiner and children of Farmington; and Mrs. Kathy Matticks and her two sons from Fruit Heights. Judge Thornlev K. Swan is now convalescing at his home after being confined to the McKay Hospital in Ogden undergoing treatment from injuries received when he was thrown from a horse. He was seriously hurt but is' natural causes. MRS. MCQUISTON was born Dec. 21, 1913 at Bancroft, Ida., to Alfred and Lillian Wright Rigby. She lived in Kaysville most of her younger life and graduated from Davis High School. She married James Harold McQuiston on May 12, 1940 in Centerville. She was a former employee at Smoot Dairy. Survivors include her son, of Logan. Rigby McQuiston, 65, of Centerville died Nov. 18, 1979 of was given by E. Harris Adams. The benediction was given by Lane K. Adams.
