She will be named Laura Jean. The new mother will be remembered as the former Kaye Whitesides of Kaysville. It is the first grandchild for President and Mrs. Stephen Whitesides of Kaysville. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Andersen also of Kaysville. e. are Great-grandparen- ts Mr. . and Emil Mrs. Whitesides of Kaysville; Mrs. LeRoy Robertson of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Andersen of Brigham City. Its a daughter for Mr. and Mrs. Larry Royce Phillips. Their first born arrived on July 20 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful and will be named Jennie. She weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was bom on her mothers birthday. The mother was the former Kenna Dee Hales of Tremonton. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Phillips, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Kennard Hales of Tremonton. Great- - grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Steven Hales, Tremonton; Mr. and Mrs. Silvester John, Malad, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. George Heaton, Alpine. Welcoming their second child and second daughter into their family are Mr. and Mrs. Steve Russell of Clearfield. The new addition arrived on July 30 in the McKay-De- e Hospital. Everett Boren of 473 W. 100 N., Layton announce the birth of a baby girl. The newest member of the Boren family was born July 23 in the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden. She will be named Amber Kay Boren. The new mother is the former April Humphreys of Kaysville. She will be named Heather Jeanne. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Humphreys, Kaysville and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pierce of Roy are the grandparents. Sunset Junior High Registration Schedule SUNSET The following is the schedule for registration for Sunset Jr. High School for the coming season. ON AUGUST 13 registration for the eighth grade will be between 1 and 3 p.m. The ninth grade students will register the same day between 9 and 12 noon. ALL NEW students will register at the school on Mrs. Ivy Ottley, Kaysville; Tuesday, August 14, at 3 p.m. School pictures will be taken at the time of registration. If this time is not Clifford W. Cloward of 509 Fern Drive, Clearfield, has been awarded the Navy Expeditionary Medal. HE IS an officer assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Midfrom way, operating Yokosuka, Japan. He received the medal for his participation in cruises in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Gulf in response to the turmoil in Iran and North Yemen. The Navy Expeditionary Medal is awarded to personnel of the Navy who have operated under circumstances deemed to merit special recognition.
