Show - m m mmm I Davis Court Dismisses Grand Jury Indictments Four grand jury indictments against nine men, eight of whom are current or former Cache County public have been disofficials, missed by Second District Court Judge J. Duffy Palmer. CACHE 335rarcayj; OPEN JULY 4TH 8 Countys grand jury originally brought eight indictments containing counts against the men. All received a change of venue from Cache County to Davis County (Second District Court in Farmington) where seven of the counts were dismissed last April. MOST OF the indictments were dismissed on grounds that AD EFFECTIVE JUNE 13 they (indictments) did not contain criminal intent. Judge Palmer also rejected pleas by prosecuting attorney Gordon A. Madsen that he be allowed to amend several of the indictments. Judge Palmer noted that no charge of criminal intent was outlined in an indictment charging Hyrum City Coun- cilman Vincent A.
