THESE SCOUTS of Troop 581 wanted to do : munity. No. They sought information about the first settlement of Kaysville, learning that Kaysvilles first settler was Hector Caleb Haight. He came north from Salt Lake City with the cattle of the first pioneer company and settled on the creek that still bears his name. something historic for the community during the bicentennial year as a scout project and memento to the com- - LATER HE built a cabin for his family, and planted trees.
