THE GROUP enjoyed a steak dinner along with dancing to the music of the Sam Hill band. Announcing their candidacy for state Jaycee president for the coming year were Maurice Stacey, Bountiful; Doug McNeil, Salt Lake City, and Jaycettes 1976-197- 7 Gordon Orr of Spanish Fork. Mont Butters of Logan also announced his candidacy for most miles to win the award and the mileage travel trophy were the San- taquin Jaycees who will now host the next travel trophy in U.S. National Director. Officers will be elected at the upcoming Jaycee State Convention in May. The convention will be held in Moab. Awards at the Travel District Trophy included participation, won by the Bamberger District which consists of Davis and Weber Counties, and Chapter participation, won by the Lay-to- n Jaycees.
