He has been a Resident of Syracuse for the past four years. BISHOP Garrett has been superintendent of the Sunday stake mission School, president, a teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood and High Priest group leader. He and Mrs. Garrett are parents of two daughters. Counselors to Bishop Garrett are Robert S. Wood and Gary Mayfield. MR. WOOD was born in southern Idaho and came to Syracuse soon after graduating from college. He has been teaching at the Institute of Religion in the Clearfield area, high school and junior high school there since. He is organist in the priesthood meetings, worked in the various priesthood quorums and is married. He and his wife Cathy are parents of four children. MR. MAYFIELD is from Clearfield, and with the ception of a short time spent out of state, has been a resident in the area. He has elders been quorum president, Sunday School teacher, finance clerk and is married to the former Marjorie Poll. The couple has three children. He is employed by Max Factor Company, located at Freeport Center. .qsst.-cler- Hatch. Mr. Skidmore is employed by White Truck Motors Corp. of Ogden. Larry K. Brown is the assistant clerk. Larry is a native of Syracuse. He has been active in each of the Syracuse Wards having been a scoutmaster, Venture leader. He is associated with Max Factor Corp., at Freeport Center here. His wife is the former Linda Wallace of Sunset and they have four children. SELECTED as the execu- tive secretary is Ferron Johnson. He has served in this same position at the Weber State College Branch in Ogden. He has also been a stake Young Adult director and a Sunday School teacher. His wife is the former Linda Knight and the couple has two children. He is currently employed at Powder Mountain in Ogden Canyon. THE population of the newly formed Fifth Ward is 430 and the Fourth Ward has 400. ex- Leadership Classes For PTA The North Davis Council PTA will begin holding leadership training classes on 9 Tuesday, April 6, from p.m. at the Clearfield High 7-- IN THIS new bishopric, Gary D. Meacham is the finance clerk. He was born in Idaho Falls, Ida. He is employed at North Davis Junior High School as the ninth grade basketball coach and science teacher. He served an LDS mission to the Florida mission. He has also served in many church auxiliary offices in the church. He was a Seventies group leader, Sunday School teacher, elders quorum presidency and finance clerk. He and his wife, the former Nancy Sperry, are the parents of three boys and two daughters. HE WAS graduated from the University of Utah and received his masters degree at Brigham Young University in Provo. E. LaMoine Skidmore, a new member in Syracuse, having been a resident only a few short months, will be ward clerk. HE WAS bom in Snowville, Utah, served an LDS mission to the East Central States. His wife is the former Pauline School, Room 5. MRS. BOYD Martin, Region III Director will be the instructor. She will PTA basics, objects, policies and respon- explain T sibilities of officers. She will also explain the Community Involvement Process. All new PTA officers and anyone else interested in PTA are cordially invited and encouraged to attend this six week course. A one hour recertification credit will be given to teachers who request such at the first meeting. Panic and excitement does not quite describe the feelings of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Mecham of Pomona, Calif, when on March 2 Mr. Mecham delivered his baby daughter at their home. Mrs. Mecham is the former Jill Buchanan of Kaysville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. is their third child and third daughter. At home are Jennifer and Teresa. Mrs. Connelley was the former Bessie Rae Esklund. Ramsey Connelley of Provo is the grandfather. From Indianapolis, Ind. comes word of the arrival of a daughter bom March 6 to Dr. noon. , Ms 46 and Mrs. Steven Dinger, weighing in at 7 lb. 12 oz. and will be named Melanie. She is their third child. At home are David and Danny. Mrs. Dinger was the former Alene Jansen of Kaysville. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Jansen, and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Dinger, all of Kaysville. Great grandmothers are Mrs. Myrtle Dinger, LeGrande, Ore. and Mrs. Blanch Jansen, Ogden. Mrs. Jansen went to Indiana to be with them for 10 days to assist with the new arrival. Happy over the arrival of their first child are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stewart of Kaysville. The little daughter who weighed in at 5 lb. 1 oz. on March 16 is receiving much attention. Mrs. Stewart was the former Wilma Robbins. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart of Kaysville and Mr. and Mrs. William J. Robbins of Layton. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Haywood of New Castle, Colo, and Mrs. Bessie Robbins of Greeley, Dwain Buchanan. Following the birth of a 8 lb. 6 oz. baby daughter the mother was then rushed to the hospital and told the father did a beautiful job in the delivery. After he recovered from the shock of the entire experience, he is proud of their new daughter Tiffany Ann. This is their second child. They have a son at home. Other grandparents are Mr. of Lawrence Lakewood, Calif, and Mrs. Emma Hermann of Lakewood is the great grandmother. Mrs. Dwain Buchanan went to Pomona to be with her daughter and family for one and Mrs. week. Welcoming their first child, a baby daughter are Mr. and Mrs. David Vaughn of Boise, Ida. She arrived on Feb. 24 and weighed in at 6 lb. 14 oz. She will be named Cecily Paige. The new mother is the former Pam Murdoch of Lay-to- Colo. Happy over the arrival of a baby daughter are Mr. and Mrs. John S. Naegle of 286 North 700 East, Kaysville. She arrived on March 18 at the McKay-De- e Hospital in n. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Murdoch of Layton and Mr. and Mrs. George Vaughn of Fruitland, Ida. are the grandparents. Mrs. Murdoch went to Boise to help with the arrival for a few days.
