Show Layton Miss Pat Wilson, 'daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Wilson, was home from Ricks College over the weekend to visit with her parents. Ac- companying her were two of her college friends also attending Ricks, Debbie Nugent from Louisiana and Koe John from Glenns Ferry, Ida. The family and guests spent Saturday in'Salt Lake visiting the capital, temple grounds and other places of interest. Pat is an honor student at Ricks. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Norman, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cottle and Mrs. Erla Wilde from Clearfield attended a birthday party held in Salt Lake City for Lorin Wilde. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Walton have been honored with out of town guests, their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Richard from Colorado Walton Springs, their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Black from Hunter and another daughter Julie Walton from Moab. A REPORTERS : ' Being a bicentennial year, and Johnny Tremain being a popular Newberry award novel about an apprentice during the war period, two of the English groups of Kaysville Jr. High were assigned a bicentennial newspaper project. '' THIS PROJECT consisted of writing eight sections (front page, editorial page, etc.) of a newspaper. Each section was to be written as if the student was THE requirement of the project was that the front page be true and accurate facts. These facts they could obtain from their en- cyclopedia. With the other sections they were to use their imaginations and creativity. Much work and time were put into the making of these newspapers. It was felt that living during the tionary period.
