She was surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Geniel was born Feb. 10, 1933, daughter of Russell and Ethel Story Bailey. She graduated from Moroni High School. She married Homer Bendixen on July 5, 1951, in the Manti LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS church and held many church positions. The most enjoyable position was being the church librarian for 15 years. She loved her job at O.C. Tanner and retired in 1998. Geniel was happiest when she was with her children, her 28 grandchildren and her six greatgrandchildren. She loved the holidays when she could decorate and be surrounded by the festive glow of her family. She was especially happy when she could spend time in her Geniel Bendixen She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gayle, Earl, and Glen Bailey, and a sister, Louise Taylor. Parley was a member of the LDS Church. He was an avid football fan and really enjoyed Monday Night football games. He loved fishing with the "Gorge Gang, hunting and his garden.
