Show October 6, 1999 - The Pyramid - Page Five a Whitford, Verda Amundsen honored on 70th anniversary Chad, Fern Christiansen MT. PLEASANT Whitford L. and Verda Amundsen will Celebrate their 70th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, with a small family gathering at the home of their daughter in Milbum. Verda is a daughter of jOutney and Sylvia Hartley Anderson. Whit is a son of Oscar L. and Hettie Peterson Amundsen. They were married in Manti, Oct. 14, 1929. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They resided for a short time in Salt Lake City, returning to Fairview, where they have lived until 1999. They are currently both residents of the Sanpete Valley Hospital. Children are Maurice and LuDene Hamilton, Milbum, and Wynn Amundsen of Salt Lake City. They have three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two hold open house on golden anniversary MT. PLEASAN- T- The family of Chad and Fern Christiansen announce the Golden Wedding anniversary of their parents on Oct. 13, 1999. An open house for friends and relatives, given by their children, will be held in their honor at the Fairview Dance Hall, Saturday Oct. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. No gifts please.
