There are always many contestants in this event, both young men and young women, showing and wearing clothes they have made. According to Brenda Aagard, the clothes are always beautiful, well made and display a variety of styles to add to the interest: suits, dresses, hats, coats, etc. She reported that one young man had made a gorgeous tuxedo. Prizes awarded include yards and yards of beautiful cloth. The winner was Dennis Hansen, of Ephraim. Proceeds from the drawing will send 16 students to a Houston, TX seminar in early 1995. The program will be under the direction of the Wasatch Academy music department. Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizens are extending a membership invitation to all Mt. Pleasant resi-- , dents 60 and older.
