Show pool Page Two Sanpete' Shopper lMl 1. August Maxine keeps records for EPHRAI- M- Meet Maxine carpenter at Shepehrd, Financial Aid Secretary and Bookkeeper at Snow College. She came to work at Snow 18 years ago after the death of her husband, Max Stevenson. Her career on campus began by working a half day in the bookstore and the other half day in the Business Office. Later she worked for Robert Stoddard who was Athletic Director at that time. In 1969, Maxine began working with Jay Snow, Financial Aid Director. Her duties are many and varied. In addition to- general secretarial responsibilities, Maxine keeps all of the records on aid programs. This includes keeping Snow in compliance with federal regulation and requirements. Most often she can- be seen assisting students who are applying for loans . by, answering theit-- questions and fill out the rather helping-thecomplex forms. She also works - Sharleen Peel Rosemary Turpin closely parents in this procedure. Max and Maxine had five children - Susan, Ronald, Gary, Sandra and Robert (who is now serving an LDS mission in Georgia!.
