Show B SUCTION uavisj Reflex-Journa- l DECEMBER 16, 1986 Local generosity abounds at Festival A six foot Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of DAVIS COUNTY Davis County volunteers the 16th annual Festival of Treesheld last week at the Salt Palace was a big success. 4 local companies and organizations donated deco- Thirty-on- e rated Christmas trees to help raise money for the Primary Childrens Medical Center. Over the years the event has expanded from a group of 12 women who decorated 60 trees to the current board, whose sole purpose is to organize the Festival. This year there were 260 trees donated to the Festival. Tree sales totaled more than $450,000. According to Lola Peterson, chairwoman of the event, all of the money goes directly to the hospital to provide charity care for the children. She attributes the Festivals success to many helping hands. Following is a list of the individuals and organizations who generously donated their time and money to the Festival. The donors name and community is followed by the name of the entry. Noel train was the feature of the tree decorated by members of the Alpha Zeta (top). Bearly Dancin was the theme of the Bountiful stars tree, which was decorated by Pam Howard, Cheryl Shelby, Teresa perkins, Jan Toponse and Sarah Toponse (bottom).
