NOVEMBER 4, 1986 Arts and crafts featured Handicapped Mutual hold Halloween party The North Davis Area Mutual for the Handicapped was recently hosted bv the Lavton 22nd Ward for a "Gala Halloween party." Each young person in the 22nd Ward took a handicap person and escorted them to the many fun booths where they performed small feat or activity and received a a Layton City Recreation is now taking registration for the second session of Holiday Arts and Crafts for children. Classes will begin Monday, Nov. 3 for and 2nd grades from 2:15-3:1- 5 p.m. Classes for 3rd through 6th grades will be immediately following from 3:15 to 4:15. It is entitled "Reach Out and Take My Hand." The Wedding youth are in the process of learning this song. The mutual presents Sacrament meeting througout the North Davis Area from Kaysvillc to Sunset . . K comprising of approximately 2() stakes and 120 plus wards. They present speaking, testimonies and music. The Young Women held their New Beginnings program in October and the Scouts participated in Scout Jamboree held at Camp Williams. It was an overnight activity. The opening social was held in September in the parking lot of the Sunset 3rd Ward where the mutual holds their meetings each week on Thursdays at 7 p.m. There was an evening of square dancing taught by the Moonlighters of Bountiful Awards coming to county 4-- H Over (K) awards will be presented to deserving Davis County I at the annual Achieve- 4-- ment Program scheduled for Nov. 12. 7 p.m., Junior High School, 150 S. 200 W., Farmington. First Security Bank awards, achievement medals, books, four year pins and many other awards will be presented. All Davis Counmembers, their leaders, and ty their parents are encouraged to attend. Retired workers schedule meeting The monthly meeting of the Layton Chapter of NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees) will be held Monday, Nov. 10 in the Layton City Hall Conference room at 15 p.m. Guest speaker will be Dr. Ted Scott, local chiropractor. Butcher, son of Don and Peggy Butcher of Fruit Heights, has earned his Eagle Scout Rank. He is a member of Troop 445, Fruit Heights 5th Ward, where he served as senior patrol leader and other troop positions. He was also Permanent Patrol Leader at Grizzly Bear training last summer.
