Show AUGUST 26, 1986 Silver Age plans trip ((JBITUARY Emma LaV Schaefermeyer, 77 of 274 E. 60 Kaysville, died Friday, Aug. 1 , 1986 at her home of heart failure. She was born Feb. 19, 1909, in Vernal, adaughter of James N. and Mary Ann Bodily Jones. She married Neal V. Schaefermeyer on Jan. 9, 1932 in Los Angeles, Calif. She lived in Vernal until 1941, in Roosevelt until 1976 and had made her home in Kaysville since that time. She graduated from Vernal High School. She was active in the LDS Church, where she served on the Primary stake board and in the Relief Society presidency. She was president of the YWMIA and was active in the cub scout program. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Surviving are her husband of Kaysville, two sons and three daughters, Kendall B. Schaefermeyer, Bountiful; Theron N. Schaefermeyer, North Salt Lake; Nealav Peiez, Stanton Island, N.Y.; Carol J. Padilla and Elynn S. n Judd, both of Kaysville; 18 grand-childre- and nine greatg- randchildren. Also' surviving are five brothers and one sister, Stanley N. Jones, Vernal; Robert W. Jones, Ogden; Owen E. Jones, Sunset; E. DeLyle Jones, Bountiful; Marcellas Jones and Mary E. Searle, both of Brigham City. Services were held at the Kaysville 18th Ward with Bishop Harold Smuin officiating. Mitchell, all of Kaysville; one Lilian Ringer, also of Kaysville. Graveside services were held at the Kaysville City Cemetery with Bishop Delone Anderson veteran rep Wednesday, Aug. 27, roast turkey, whipped potatoes buttered green beans, parkerhouse roll and butter, chilled fruit, doughnuts and milk. Thursday, Aug. 28, spaghetti with meat sauce and grated cheese, combo salad dressing, semiphard rolls and butter, sliced peaches, snickerdoodle cookie and milk. Friday, Aug. 29, baked fish sauce, sunshine potatoes, peas and carrots, whole wheat rolls and butter, strawberry shortcake ar and milk. SATURDA Couple earns BYU degrees Mark and Brenda Burton received degrees from BYU in August. Mr. Burton is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Francis Burton of San Antonio, Tex. and graduated in accounting. Mrs. Burton, the former Brenda Hodges, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jere D. Hodges of Syracuse and graduated from Clearfield High. She received her degree in elementary education.
