Libradila Garcia Martinez, 91, of 738 Sapphire Drive, Layton, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1985 in a Clear-Hel- d nursing home of causes incident to age. SHE GRADUATED from in 1979, and from Ricks College in 1981. She was a member of the Kaysville 13th Ward where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and also as Laurel class president. SHE WAS born March 7, 1894 in Taos, New Mexico, a daughter of SHE WAS active in ballroom dancing and clogging and was an accomplished pianist. Surviving are her husband of Garcia. She married Samuel Martinez Jan. 10, 1910 in Taos, New Mexico. He died June 14, 1967. SHE WAS born Nov. 13, I960, in Moscow, Ida., a daughter of Donald William and Mary C. Glas-so- n Royse. She married William F. David Aug. 15. 1980, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Christa Ellis dies at age 6 SHE HAD been a legal secretary for three years with a law firm in Logan. She had also worked at the Utah State Family Life Department. Hannah Cook Hansen, 91, of Syracuse, died 2462 S. 2000 W., Sunday, Oct. 6, 1985 at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Mark (Kathryn) Thompson, in Layton, of causes incident to age. SHE WAS born Jan. Syracuse, a SHE WAS born Feb. 6, 1979 at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson. Ariz., a daughter of Ken- neth Michael and Karen Kay 1. 1894 in SHE HAD lived in England, and moved to Roy in 1982, and in Layton the past two years. She was a member of Saint Pauls Lutheran Church. Dedication of the grave was by Reverend Jack Heck with interment in the Roy City Cemetery. Fanny Maria Beazer Cook. She married Clyde H. Hansen on Dec. 20. 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Oct. 16, 1982. SHE WAS an active member of the Syracuse 2nd LDS Ward. She had served in the ward and stake Relief Society presidencies. She had served as president of the Wheatley and Lee Mansfield. HANNAH COOK HANSEN 4-- Bountiful; 19 grandchildren, 51 and one ALSO SURVIVING is one sister, Mrs. Charles C. (Verda) Parker, Clinton. Cancer screening clinic slated LAYTON The cancer screening and control program sponsored by the Utah Department of Health and affiliated with the Utah Division of the American Cancer Society will hold a women's cancer screening clinic. It will be held at the Lay ton West LDS Stake Center 1591 W. 1600 N., Layton Thursday, Oct. 17, beginning at 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. APPOINTMENTS are necessary be scheduled by calling 315.
