Libradita Garcia Martinez, 91, SHE GRADUATED from Moscow High School in 1979, and from Ricks College in 1981. She was a member of the Kaysville 13th Ward where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and also as Laurel class president. of 738 Sapphire Drive, Layton, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1985 in a Clearfield nursing home of causes incident to age. SHE WAS born March 7, 1894 in Taos, New Mexico, a daughter of Lionor and Ursulita Roybal SHE WAS active in ballroom dancing and clogging and was an accomplished pianist. Surviving are her husband of Garcia. She married Samuel Martinez Jan. 10, 1910 in Taos, New Mexico. He died June 14, 1967. Kaysville, one daughter, Laura David also of Kaysville; her parents of Moscow, Idaho; her grandparents, Audra and Edna Royse, Fruitland, Ida.; Lillian Glasson, New Plymouth, Ida.; one sister, Linda Royse, Moscow, Ida. SHE WAS preceded in death by a LEAH ANN DAVID Mrs. Leah Ann David, 24, of 522 L. 200 N., Kaysville, died Monday, Oct. 7, 1985 at the Humana Hospital Davis North of complications follow ing childbirth. SHE WAS born Nov. M oscow, Ida., a 13, 1960, in daughter of Donald William and Mary C. Glas-so- n Royse. She married William F. David Aug. 15, 1980, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. SHE HAD been a legal secretary for three years with a law firm in Logan. She had also worked at the Utah State Family Life Department. She was reared in Moscow, Ida., and had lived in Rexburg for three years, Logan for two years and in brother. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Kaysville 13th Ward Chapel with Dallon R. Franks officiating. Hannah Cook Hansen, 91, of 2462 S. 2000 W., Syracuse, died Sunday, Oct. 6. 1985 at the home of granddaughter, Mrs. Mark (Kathryn) Thompson, in Layton, of causes incident to age. a Christa Ellis dies at age 6 Christa B. Ellis, 6, of 1169 N. 1300 W., Layton, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1985 at the Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City of an infection. SHE HAD lived in England, and moved to Roy in 1982, and in Layton the past two years. She was a member of Saint Pauls Lutheran Church. SHE WAS born Jan. 1, 1894 in SHE WAS an active member of the Syracuse 2nd LDS Ward. She had served in the ward and stake Relief Society presidencies. She had served as president of the Primary and secretary to the Young Womens Organization. She had been a visiting teacher for 69 years years. She had also been active in the program. Surviving are four sons and one daughter, C. Russell Hansen, Morris Hansen, Gordon Earl Hansen, Norman Cook Hansen, all of Syracuse; Mrs. Maurine H. Marble, Bountiful; 19 grandchildren, 51 ALSO SURVIVING is one sister, Mrs. Charles C. (Verda) Parker, Clinton. She was preceded in death by a daughter. FUNERAL services were held Wednesday at the Syracuse 2nd Ward with Bishop John A. Flint conducting. Family prayer was offered by Bishop Craig N. Hansen; prelude and postlude, Steven L. Hansen; invocation, William H. Child; Come Unto Me and Rest by Marine Marble and Jack R. Marble, accompanied by Douglas C. Ellis, also of Layton; her grandpa- rents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert R. Haupt, Roy; Mrs. Emily V. Ellis, Melbourne, Ark. Funeral services were held Friday at Saint Pauls "Lutheran Church under the direction of Lindquists Clearfield Mortuary. Lives. Dedication of the grave was by Reverend Jack Heck with interment in the Roy City Cemetery. Kalanialil Haase Cancer screening clinic slated LAYTON - The cancer screening and control program sponsored by the Utah Department of Health and affiliated with the Utah Division of the American Cancer Society will hold a womens cancer screening clinic. It will be held at the Layton West LDS Stake Center 1591 W. 1600 N., Layton Thursday, Oct. 17, beginning at 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. -- APPOINTMENTS are necessary and may be scheduled by calling ext. 315. Kalanialil Haase, 74, of 186 Ross Drive, Clearfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 1. 1985 in Fort Leavenworth, Kan., of causes incident to age. SHE WAS born April 22, 191 in Kauai, Hawaii, a daughter of 1 Mrs. John (Rose) Balanay, all of Honolulu, Hawaii. GRAVESIDE services were held Saturday at the Clearfield City Cemetery. SPECIALLY trained registered nurses will do the examination for which a fee, based upon annual family income and family size will be charged. Stephen and Julia Huluhulu Pa.
