Her works are done in oils, water colors, and acrylics. She is also a fabric artist, a quilter, a teacher and a lecturer. HER INTREST in quilting started about five years ago when Mrs. Dalebout decided she wanted a special cover for her bed. She still uses this first piece as a reminder of the hours since that first project that she has spent hand piecing, appliqueing and quilting. After working for a period of time using traditional patterns, Mrs. Dalebout decided she wanted to expand her quilting interests by creating designs and motiffs all her own. She now considers herself to be a Contemporary Quilter. SHE HAS won many ribbons at the different exhibits and contests she has entered. These include Best of Show awards at the Salt Lake Tribune show in 1984, Region Winner in the Festival of the American West 1982, 1983 and 1984 and the Award of Excellence in the 1985 Springville Show. Mrs. Dalebout coordinates appropriate colors and prints so there is a dominant color and definite contrasts.
