(Don) Edwards of 229 S. 200 E., Kaysville, retired Sept. 1 as a faculty member of Davis High School with 30 years of service as a Smith-Hughe- teacher. HE MOVED to Kaysville the spring of 1954 where he began his career as a teacher at Davis High School. Emil Whitesides was the principal of the school at that time. He had great respect for Mr. Whitesides as well as Richard S. career as a MR. EDWARDS teacher includes 10 years as instructor of auto mechanics and 20 years as the Agriculture instructor. His years spent at Davis High have been most enjoyable and rewarding. He stated The school has an exceptional administration and faculty and they have been marvelous to work with." He said I have a wonderful wife and family. He and his wife Mary plan to do some traveling as a hobby they both enjoy. Recently they went to Hawaii to visit his brother and family who live there. Business ar MR. EDWARDS was one of 14 children in the family of Philo and Addie Mae Edwards of Provo. He has great love and respect for these parents and his brothers and sisters. They continue a closeness as a family and his parents both being in their late 80s and their family all attend the BYU foorball games regularly as Mr. Edwards brother, LaVell Edwards, is the noted coach of the BYU football team.
