Show DAVIS REFLEX JOURNAL, AUGUST 15, 1984 Dennis Smythe has returned to his home in Chula Vista, Calif, after spending the past six weeks with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. KsiysvMg nver, Colo, at the home of Mrs. Ann Hills parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Scholes. Other attending were Anns two brothers and families, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Scholes of Omaha, By NORMA PREECE 544-875- 1 Mrs. Mildred Ensign recently returned from a two week vacation trip to Minnesota and Earl Allen. His mother Kathy Smythe came to attend her 20th Davis High School class reunion Mas- and Dennis stayed for the visit with his grandparents. Don and Janet Adams and daughter Lisa vacationed at Yose-mit- e National Park en route to Carmel Valley, Calif, where Lisa stayed to be a nanny for a few months with the family of Fred and Marielle Faieta and two children. They visited with the Faieta family and enjoyed the beach and Big Surf at Carmel Valley and Monterey Peninsula. They traveled on to Santa Cruz and to San Jose. While at San Jose they visited with a nephew Mark Winters who is in San Jose working, then on to Oakland and San Francisco and Sacramento before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Walwyn Green have moved to Antiock, Calif, to make their home. They will be residing near their daughter and son- - Neb. and Mr. and Mrs. Fred sachusetts. She went to Minneapolis where she was a guest of Mr. Scholes of Pleasanton, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. Preece returned from a two week vacation trip to Payette Lake at McCall, Ida., Red Fish Lake and Sun Valley, golfing and fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Allen entertained at a family birthday open house in honor of her mother, Mrs. H. R. Adams of Hyrum on Saturday, Aug. 4. Others assisting were Mrs. Allens two brothers, Mr. and and Mrs. Reuben Hill and family. Later she traveled to Amherst, Mass, where she was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith and also attended the wedding of Jane Smith held at Boston, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Oram recently vacationed for nine days in June in Hawaii on the island of Maui. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dunford n and all of their children and Fish at four days spent Lake in Southern Utah. Overnight guests of Mrs. Clover Sanders were her brother and Mr. and Mrs. Lund Johnson of Murphys, Calif. While hue they all spent time together in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Randall Bowring have moved to the Fairfield to make their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Noall Bennett and family have returned from a trip to their summer cabin at Bear Lake. Julian Pace and daughter Holly and her daughter Honey arrived from Sacramento. Calif, to visit with Mr. Pace's mother, Mrs. Helen Johnson. Dr. Charles R. Munns of New port Beach, Calif, is visiting with Mr. his sister and brother-in-laand Mrs. Melvin Manning and family. Returning from a three week trip to Florida are Major (Ret) and lyirs. Alton Van Ausdal and daughter Mrs. Robert Adams, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. George Adams of Hyrum. Out of state guests attending were an uncle, E.P. Van Leuven and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Thompson of San Luis Obispo, grand-diildie- Calif. in-la- Dr. and Mrs. William Nielsen and family. Prior to their leaving, on Friday, a family dinner was hosted in their honor at Brattens Cove in Bountiful by members of her family, her mother Mrs. Julia Webster, her brother Dee Webster and her sisters, Mr. and Mrs, John B. Cook, Layton and their daughter Mrs. Greg Taucker, of Dallas, Tex.; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Page and son Justin; Mrs. Erma Elm, Ogden; Mrs. Afton Udall, Kaysville; Mrs. Dorothy Peterson, Fruit Heights. The dinner was held Thursday evening in Bountiful. Mrs. Marianne Wicknick and two children Ryan and Brandon of Oklahoma have been staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bengt Jonsson for the past three weeks prior to their moving to San Bernardino, Calif, to make their home.' Marianne's husband, Lt. Michael Wicknick joined them for a few days visit prior to leaving for California on their new assignment with the Air Force. Raye and Susan Ormond of Hardin, Mont, are visiting a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Dale Allen. Susan came to attend her five year Davis High School class reunion. Mrs. Darlene Galbraith and son Ryan, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bone and family enjoyed a recent 10 day vacation trip to Hawaii. They vi- sited the islands of Oahu and Kawai. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bonnemort and six children of Salt Lake City were guests at dinner of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bonnemort on Saturday in honor of his father, Howard Bonnemorts birthday anniversary. Mrs. Ada Mae Tucker of Denver, Colo, is visiting for two weeks wit Mrs. Alta Stuart. Eric and Lani Benton of Tempe, Ariz. have been visiting with their grandparents, Mrs. Velma Benton, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thurgood, Clearfield. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bourne recently vacationed with a LDS Church history tour of the Eastern states, with their children, Jamie, Corrie, Christie and Bryan for two weeks. They visited with her pa rents Mr. and Mrs. Howard Clo-war- d who are serving on an LDS mission to Defiance, Mo. They visited her aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. George Ruegg at Akron, Ohio and also enjoyed time at Palmyra, New York and also Niagara Falls, New York, Mr, and Mrs. William M. Packer and their family Mr. and Mrs. Scott Packer, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs: Bruce Bitner, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Blood, Layton; Mrs. Kent Cammack, Phoenix, Ariz.; attended the blessing and naming bf the twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Packer on Sunday at the Layton 31st Ward. Also the same day was the confirmation of Mr. and Mrs. Packers son Matthew. The twins were named Thomas Jordan and William Trevor. Others attending were Mrs. Tom Packers sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Val Taylor of Centerville. The Kaysville LDS Stake Spe- cial Interest Group held their annual summer pot luck dinner at the church patio on July 16. Mrs. Mildred Ensign and Mrs. Gladys Collier were in charge of the social. Irina. They traveled to Lakeland, Fla. to visit with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Purdy and also spent time sightseeing at Disney World, Epcot, Cyprus Gardens and Cape Kennedy as well as many other places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Manning attended a family gathering and dinner in Brigham City on Monday evening where they honored her parents, Dr. and Mrs. C.A. Munns for their 60th wedding anniversary. Also on hand for the special event was Mrs. Mannings brother. Dr. Charles R. Munns who traveled from Newport Beach, Calif, to attend the event. Mr. and Mrs. Del Mar Birken-fel- d were guests in Bountiful on Sunday at the home of their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gene X where they celebrated great-grandso- Brock Hart- n well's first birthday anniversary. Max and Aldoria Ward have accepted a mission call to the LDS Mission. They will enter the Mission Training Center on Sept. 19. They are members of the Kaysville 13th l.DS Ward. Houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Matthews and family are their nieces and nephews, Louise, Shannon. Nicole and Blake Matthews of Mesa, Ariz. They are the children of Mrs. Diane Matthews and will be visiting for two weeks. Ruth Doman has returned to her home in Sacramento, Calif, after spending the past three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Guam-Mircrones- ia 1. Dan will keep taxes low. He has received the "Watchdog of the Treasury" award from the American Taxpayers Association every year he's been in Congress. As Governor, he's committed to holding the line on taxes. 2. Dan has the most experience with Utah issues. Dan has worked full time on Utah issues for the past eight years. He knows Utah's problems, and he has the experience and leadership to deal with them effectively. 3 Dan will protect Utah's rights. 64 of Utah is federally owned and controlled. We of our state budget. It is essential we elect a depend on federal money for one-thir- d governor with the experience and proven leadership to stand up for Utah with the Federal Cottrell. Mrs. Clara Krebs and Mrs. Ruth Watkins have returned from a tour of Europe. They flew to London, England where they went sightseeing. Then they traveled to Harwich where they boarded the boat - Government. 4. Dan will bring new jobs to Utah. He has the contacts to bring clean new business which will provide new jobs for Utahns. Mrs. Krebs and Mrs. Watkins attended the famous Oberammer-ga- u Passion Play. This was the 350th anniversary for the play. They were on a company tour with 39 members and were gone 20 days. Mrs. Noelene Cammack and children have returned to their home in Phoenix, Ariz. after spending the past month with her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Packer and with her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cammack. The Mina K. Oldham family reunion was held Wednesday through Sunday at Panguitch Lake. Thirty-eigh- t guests attended. The men built their own canoes for the event. Those attending in addition to Mrs. Oldham were her children and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Don Adams, Kaysville; Bishop and Mrs. Bert Borski and family, Spokane, Wash.; Bishop and Mrs. Tom Williams and family, San Diego, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hales, Layton; Mr. and Mrs. Dana Hales, Fruit Heights; Mr. and Mrs. David Hales, Sandy; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hales, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Don Hales, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Rick Maw, South Weber; Mr. and Mrs. Mark Borski, Centerville and all of their families. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bonne-mor- t vacationed for four days at Jackson Lake Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F.
