Sacrament meeting Sunday evening October 26 was conducted by Bp. Curtis. Speakers were Stewart Benedict, and Elder Brent Christensen. Elder Christensen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Esley Christensen of Moroni. He recently returned from an LDS Mission to Japan. Mrs. Alyce Wilkens just received word of the shooting that occured in Seattle, Washington. Her cousin, Police-Canin- e officer, Ronald McAffee, age 31, with his dog were tracking an assailant through a yard in the Greenwood area, when he was shot by said assailant. The shooting took place about 4 a.m. It was serious injury, but he is recovering. He did not get a chance to see his assailant. Mr. McAffee is formerly from American Fork.
