Grandparents Merlin and Zekla Jackson hosted a family dinner at their home after Sacrament Meeting. Duane and Phyllis Sampson left their home in Pahvant a few days prior to Thanksgiving for a delightful 10 day vacation that took them first to Ontario, Ore. where they spent two days with their daughter and VeLynn and Warren Iverson and two children, then on to Tacoma, Washington, where they were guests of their son Dennis and his wife arolyn and six children for Thanksgiving dinner plus a few more enjoyable days. They enjoyed the scenery as they traveled to Reno for more pleasant visiting with their son Blair, his wife Dewie and their little sons Shiloh and Aared. At Wells, Nev. they were guests of Phyllis brother and sister-in-laBoyd and Tish Tripp and sister-in-laEvaleene Tripp. The widow of Phyllis' youngest brother, Russell, who passed away suddenly in Aug. son-in-la- Meadow Moments Kanosh Kapers By Dathel Whitaker Ark) and Marguerite Harris of Kanosh have returned from a months vacation. They went to Yuma, Arizona and Mexico to visit the William Tanners of Preston, Idaho, who winter in Yuma each year. After staying there four days, they went on to Ontario, Olifornia to visit Marguerite's brother, Dr. Harold Fisher and family. The Harrises did many things with the Fishers and their large family. The Fishers have visited here in Kanosh several times. From Ontario, they traveled to Camarillo, Calif., where the Harris family used to live. The highlight of the week they spent there, was Thanksgiving Day and later a family reunion with all of the relatives. Their son, Michael and his wife, Linda Gay, live there and both teach Art. They and their three children have also visited often in Kanosh. They own a home in Fillmore. From amarillo, they traveled up the coast to San Louis Obispo to Marguerite's brother. Having had a wonderful trip, they felt excited about getting back home. They report that they think Kanosh is a great place to live. The newest member of the ward is, David Lee Green, who was baptized on Sat., Dec. 12th, at the Kanosh Ward Chapel. He is the son of Bany ami Chris Green, and the nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leach. David was baptized and confirmed by Bishop Dave Christensen. His name was presented for approval to be ordained to the office of a Deacon, which was taken care of following Sacrament meeting, by Bishop Christensen. Cheri Perkins was released as the Kanosh Ward choir director. Lillian Rogers was sustained as the new ward choir director.
