COMPLETES ' CMI2D3T WORK PROCEEDS ON UNCOMPLETED SECTION OF 5 1- By Luella Edwards -1 Additional work on the uncompleted section of Interstate 15 between Scipio and Nephi has been shcedulcd by the Utah Department of Transportation bid opening was held today in the State Office Building on a contract the segment from the Sevier River to Mills Junction in Juab County, a total of 7.4 miles. W.W. Clyde and Company of Spring-villUtah submitted the apparent low bid of $22,085,060 to do the work. The Offical engineer's estimate was A e, $.11,253,400. left to complete The 41 miles of between Scipio and North Nephi has been divided into four separate projects from the Sevier River northerly to Mills Junction. Six miles of the interstate will be completely constructed, including a layer of concrete surfacing. Motorists can expect moderate to major traffic interference once work begins on this project this spring. However, the contractor is required to safely maintain traffic through the project area. The southbound lanes of the interstate will be constructed first, while the existing highway is obliterated and the northbound lanes are constructed. The 375 working day contract is expected to be completed by the fall of 1983. The other three project areas in this section of interstate section from include a twelve-mile- s Scipio to the Sevier River, a seventeen- mile section from Mills Junction to south Nephi, and a six mile section from South Nephi to North Nephi, which is currently under contract for grading and drainage work. Add eggs, beat until light and fluffy. Stir in carrots, nuts, fruits, then stir in sifted dry ingredients and bread crumbs until blended. Put into greased IVi qt. mold. Cover and steam for 3 hours. (This may be steamed by using pressure saucepan.) Place hot water in saucepan to j full. Place pudding on rack, with the vent open, allowing steam to flow for 20 minutes. Reduce heat ater steam is flowing freely. Close vent and bring to 15 pounds pressure tor 40 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool before opening saucepan. Serve with Spicy Sauce or a favorite of your own. Spicy Sauce V cup sugar V tsp. cinnamon V V tsp. salt tsp. nutmeg 1 T. 1 cornstarch cup boiling water 3 T. butter IT. vanilla Combine all ingredients except butter and vanilla, and stir until thick and clear.
