He was the husband of Reva Payne Kribbs and has spent much time in Fillmore fishing and hunting. He is survived by a son and daughter, five and six grandchildren Services were held in Hemet Friday morning. A sister, Magrierite Manhard, flew down for the service. ECY SWEETING DIES Funeral services for Roy Sweeting were held Wednesday, 1 p.m., in the Fillmore Second Ward. He died July 23, 1978 in the Delta Hospital after a lingering illness. Bom in Brunson, Michigan. March 13, 1907, to Frank W. and Jennie Purvee Sweeting. He married Mary Iverson Jan. 29, 1929 in Fillmore. He was a farmer and stock raiser. Survivors are: wife, Fillmore: son, Frank, Tooele; two daughters, Mrs. Ned (Melba) Tee-pieDelta; Mary Kay, s, dren. 15 grandchil- 14 An account of the funeral services will appear in next weeks issue of the Progress. Last Rites frr Nellie lversm Orrin Franklin Petersen, 74, died July 25, 1978 at the Fillmore Hospital of a heart attack. He was born April 3, 1904, a son of Joseph Franklin and Josephine in Frandsen Petersen, Redmond, Utah. He married Zina Day on April 3, in 1925 the Salt Lake Temple. He filled a mission for the LDS Church in the Northwestern States Mission from 1922 to 1924. He served as bishop of the Redmond Ward from 1927 - 1936 and has subsequently served in various other positions in the Church Auxiliaries and quorums. He began his successful insurance career in 1935 and has continued to the up present time. He is survived by his widow, Fillmore, two sons and a daughter: Duane 0., Fillmore, Boyd F., Salt Lake City, Utah and Mrs. Loren J. (LaRene) Spencer, Reno, Nevada; 12 grandchildren. 5 greatand the grandchildren brothers and following sister: Milton N., Port Ludlow, Wn.; Lawrence. Harold and Mrs. Blair (Shirley) Curtis. Salina.
