Mr. and Mrs. Michael Utley, Healther, Shane and Kate, Granger, visited on Sunday with his parents Clem and Lora and the twins Tony and Tami and attended Sunday School and Sacra- Mr. and Mrs. Melville Tomkinson accompanied their son and wife, Roy and Gloria to Bountiful Saturday where their son Fred and wife Marjean met them and took them on to Idaho to visit with them for a while. Clayton and Rita Mooney Mrs. John (Ida) Smithson, arrived Flagstaff, Ariz., Friday to attend services for Mrs. Brower. Idas parents, John and Rozelpha Allen were close neighbors and friends of the Browers. Their children grew up together being of corresponding ages. Ida was a house guest of her sister,-i- n law, Ruth Allen. She also visited Arthur and Beth Allen and family, and Ruths son Rex, wife Lynn and children. They were guests for Sunday dinner of Rex and Lynn. Ruthmary Brower also was a dinner guest. Ida is the owner and operator of Smithson Gymnastics School. She reports that Jodi Ivie was one of the students recently qualifying for the State Meet. She took second on the floor, she is the daughter of Mrs. Eldon Bowman and the late Dr. Morrell W. Ivie, and granddaughter of J. Delial and family say they miss their Flowell friends but they have some wonderful friends in Delta where they now make their home. They are first time grandparents to a little girl born Dec. 3, at the West Millard Hospital to their daughter Becky and her husband Sam Hy of Pleasant Grove. The little one was blessed in Fast Meeting in her grandparents Ward in Delta Feb. 5, and was given the name of Lisa and a blessing by Grandpa Clayton assisted by her father and the Bishopric. Sam has recently been baptized a member of the LDS Church. After many years as a faithful secretary to the Y.W.M.I.A., of this ward, Ruty Mary Brower was in released Sunday sacrament meeting. As the new secretary of the organization is Hilda Anderson received a sustaining vote and will now serve in that capacity. The membership records of Alan and La Donna Hobbs were received and this young couple were welcomed as members into our ward. They live on the property in Pahvant formerly owned by Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Graff of Fillmore. nrgjWi and Vergie Ivie. Kanosh Kapers by Dalhal Whitaker Two fun Priesthood parties with their wives, were enjoyed by the High Priests and Elders. On Feb. 11, around forty two nathered at the cultural hall to enjoy the High Priests Social, Old Fashioned which consisted of parlor games, skits, cherry pie and home grown ice cream. Friday evening, Feb. 18, about thirty Elders, with their wives, participated in a Mexican progressive supper. They gathered at the Cultural hall to partake of cheese crisps, then on to the home of Brant and Karen George, where they enjoyed Tacos, thus on to Pat and Mike Bensons for Enchiladas then to the home of Leonard Vicki Watts where and they enjoyed Buritos. The group traveled back to the Cultural hall, where they delighted in fixing their own sundaes to suit their notions, then finished the evening by square dancing, for those who werent too full. Good news, was to hear that Mignon Bemis had presented her husband with a new son, on Sunday morning, Feb. 20.
