But there’s some satisfaction when you help people get the payment they want.” Many employers in the salesfield prefer applicants have some sales experience. However, past sales experience is not a requirement for many positions, particularly when the companyis willing to provide extensive training. “We've hired people right out of high school. Sometimes they are vi determined when they're that young,” says Poulson. RC Willey provides one week of training on sales techniques, as well as training on new products.
