hawked about the city at ruinous discounts to the injury of 01 the workingmen emen and other creditors of the corporation and to the shame and discredit ol of all citizens whose greatest pride is their business integrity teg rity not content with squandering public money in such alleged public improvements which have been a detriment in most instances and as it if incapable of getting rid in excusable ways or the money wrung from the people the council has been outrageously if not criminally generous its own members in the year 1882 it voted to itself as corn conar for special sessions
