| Show twenty fourth at grantsville Grants ville our correspondent writing from grantsville Grants ville under date of july says that was a pala gala day for the good gaoa folks oti of grantsville Grants ville quite an inter esting pro gramme was gotten up with marshal of the day john bobat I 1 rich as the people assembled in front of the meetinghouse meeting house bouse at 9 and formed in procession headed with the brass band followed by twenty four young ladies and gentlemen on horseback the ladies were dressed in red white and blue suits then came the relief belief society the Y L and T Y M M I 1 associations with the officers leading on horseback with suits of blue and pink the primary Assa clation in decorated wagons with appropriate banners the sunday school classes in wagons farmers citizens in carriages and on horseback and this procession paraded through ae the principal streets when they assembled in the meetinghouse meeting house bouse and were called to order by the marshal of the day an interesting pro gramme was rendered dancing and other amusements took place in the afternoon for the children concluding with fireworks and a dance at night everything passed off quietly and peace peacefully tally under the direction of the committee |
