Youd really question if Neil Miller was the same person who had just made it through his chemistry class. Call it what you want, the seminary spirit, his teacher Bro. Buhrley or whatever, but personality has altered its course a degree or two. 5. . ' ' Bro; Buhrley is jusfone of a handful of seminary instructors at Weber High, but he has something in common with his students and athletes, he once attended Weber and graduated from that school. The years that Buhrley attended Weber High, he tried every way to include himself with whatever included a ball. Sports were his love, and that love v . continues today. Weber High athletes dont waste anytime getting to know him and likewise, Buhrley sees that his. personality touches their lives. It may just be the little things like phoning a student or athletes home on Saturday, and wishing them happy birthday. But those little things make points, sometimes more points than any Friday afternoon football game could begin to. It means a lot to me to see any of the students excell whether it be athletics or english. Athletes I feel pretty close to, because of the fact I played here at Weber. I really enjoy seeing them do their best. Part of the reason I decided to teach seminary was the great opportunity to meet these kids, said Buhrley. r Bright Career Buhrley enjoyed athletics throughout all of his high school career and admitted that it seemed odd if there wasnt some kind of practice to attend. , starred in football, basketball and track while attending Weber. I still get excited when I get the opportunity to see Red and Black compete. Im still a sports nut, just ask my wife, he said. Most of the players are in my class or someone elses and so comes opportunity to get to know them.
