The WUdcats had not given up over 290 total yards in conference play since the first day he arrived at Weber, but aUowed Montana State 425. Perhaps our defense was a little disoriented and we possibly tried too many things. Our players got a little discouraged early, something weve got to change in a big hurry. Mike Humiston and BUI Kelly attended the WUdcat Club gathering with Riehlman and were selected as the for the WUdcats. Kelly told WUdcat members record was the result that the of many things, but the bad breaks in the past few games that a team could in no way expect to win when turning the ball over 4 times in the first half and having the opposition capitalize and score on three of those miscues. Thats 11 turnovers in two and a half quarters of play and you certainly cant beat your brother playing like that, commented Riehlman. Riehlman told Wildcat members that he was generally pleased with the second half of play and was highly pleased with the performance of junior quarterback, Bill Kelly. BILL KELLY thanked Wildcat Chib members for the generous gesture they showed toward the team by having a pot luck dinner for the team last Thursday evening.
