What is to become of WFFL Football Front (Wasatch is in future years League) anyones guess. But the majority of the hundreds of kids that suit up on each Saturday love the rough and tough action and wouldnt have it any other way. Soccer, irate parents, lack of funds and a bundle of other reasons have put a storm over little league football in this area, but still the sport continues to live Billaruel. According to coach Wilcox their defense is every bit as good as their offense. The defensive line features Cutler, Butler, and Bryce Johnston. The end position includes Kent Field, Mark Beer aft, and Joe Zamora. Simons, Ed Thomas, Ken Espinosa, Mike Coe, Dave Youngberg and Dave Kingsley will all See action at linebacker for the Redskins. Rounding out the roster at defensive backs are Kipinger, Fasig, Miles Davis and Earl Cole. Helping Coach Wilcox are Assistant coaches Clayton Peterson, Paul Marlcham and Managers Ken Hargus, Scott Taylor and Bruce Porter. The Scorpions man a small but sufficient offensive line which includes tackles Curtis Kennedy and Mark Webster. Filling the guard slots are Mike Field and Scott Westwood. Taking the center and tight end - positions are Scott Gomm and Nate Gallegos. Even though the Scorpions have the largest player in the league, a 296 pound defensive lineman named Stuart Mac Innes, their defense is small but hard MtMng, this according to Coach Knudson. Other defensive Hnnman featured are Field, Gomm, and Kennedy, Starting at defensive ends are Doug Williamson and Nata Gallegos. . ' .
