IS SHAUNA CHRISTENSEN Shauna is a 5 9 junior transfer from Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. While at Snow, Shauna was on the ICAC allconference volleyball team this past season, as well as a member of the NJCAA Volleyball Team. From Salt Lake City, Shauna was a member of Cottonwood High Schools 1974 and 1976 State 4A Volleyball Championship Teams. Shauna has good jumping ability, Coach Miles pointed out, and we will probably use her for blocking in the middle. She is also hitting the ball wel 1 and hard and has a good All-Regi- hard serve. MAR1SA MORTENSEN 25 At 5 11, Marisa is looking forward to this season after sitting out last year because of a foot injury. A physical education major, Jill is from Bountiful, Utah, where she lettered in volleyball three years while in high school. According to Coach Miles, Jill has an excellent serve-har- d and tough-an- d well probably use her for blocking and hitting across the front. PORTER (Team CoCaptain) Karen is a 59 junior transfer from Mesa Community College in Arizona. While at Mesa CC, Karen was a member of the 1977-7- 8 NJCAA National Volleyball Championship Team, as well as the third place NJCAA team in 1978-7A major in physical 10-K- education, Karen will add valuable experience to the Wildcat squad. According to Coach Miles, Karen has the. potential to be the best player on the team. . . she is excellent on defense and is a good passer on serve receives as well as a good strong hitter. 21 PENNY WANBERG (Team CoCaptain) As a junior. Penny will be playing her third season of all-rou- volleyball for Weber State. Penny was selected, as Weber State's Outstanding Volleyball Player last season. While only 5 Penny is a good player.
