He had resided in the Ogden area the past 20 years and had been employed as a cook at various establishments. He was an veteran with the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II. Also surviving are her mother of Roy, one brother and three sisters: Ronald Hill, American Fork; Mrs. Randy (Marilyn) Myers, Roy; Mrs. Carl (Diana) Bullock of Plain Cit and Mrs. Craig (Carolyn) Boyer of .. Roy. . Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Orell Merritt, Star Valley, Wyo., and Della Hill, Malad, Idaho.
