For the eighth consecutive year, North Ogden Junior High has claimed the Junior High Girls Volleyball Championship. They decided to color the trophy with purple and gold, North Ogdens school colors. Whether it was by chance or someones assumption, well never know. Over 250 girls tried out for the 1978 volleyball squad and Coach Boyington called it a difficult task to try and trim that many girls into a Each year the girls are squad. waiting at the doors for the season to start. Many of her former Knight players arenow stars with Weber High, and the Warriors just finished staking claim to their first state championship.
