Mr. and FARMINGTON Mrs. Milton Sessions of Farmington will be honored Saturday, Sept. 10, at an open house commemorating their 50th Wedding anniversary. Their family invites friends and relatives to this event which will be held at the home of their son, Neal Sessions at 370 West Porter Lane, Centerville, between 6 and 8 p.m. Milton and Alene Sessions were married at Farmington, Sept. 11, 1933. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Sessions is the son of Calvin and Ruth Sessions. He was born in Farmington. He owned and operated Milts Market in Farmington. The Red Haven variety is an early peach, which is ripe by the end of August. Another early peach, the Early Elberta has already come and gone. J.H. The Utah State University Agricultural Experiment Station states that every type of fruit is late this year. So, now its time to put up peaches and take advantage of the fruit that is nearly falling off of trees and of the many peaches for sale in Davis County neighborhoods. Canned peaches Select peaches that are ripe but firm. Peel, remove pits, and slice or half each peach. Pack peaches into jars within a half inch of the top. Fill to within one and a half inches of top with hot syrup. Place on lid and screw the band tightly. Process pints 20 minutes and quarts 25 minutes.
