The production features eight talented young men and women from local communities who mud sing and dance to sic of a band. Kathryn Werrett, dance captain and a performer in the musical, is a resident of Layton. The cast also includes Christi Hale from Layton and Paula and Fawna Gillette of Bountiful. Young men in the production are Dave Schmidt of Layton, Mike Derricott of Salt Lake City, Danny Thompson from Orem and Ryan Cowley who re- week. The production will be presented every Saturday night at 7 p.m. New Davis Ballet School Will Open Doors Sept. 26 BOUNTIFUL A ballet school called the Davis Troupe de Ballet will open its doors to children and adults at the of Utah in Bountiful beginning Sept. 26. Sponsored by the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Utah, the ballet school is directed by Ballet Mistress Mary Lynne Shupe. A former principal dancer with Ballet West, Ms. Shupe is a graduate of the Universitys Department of Ballet. it 1 1 song-and-dan- Marne, Grease, Cats and other musicals. Rescheduled day and time for the show is every Saturday night at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Admission charge to Lagoon includes admission to Music U.S.A. gree. NARFEs Set Meeting - The BountiBOUNTIFUL ful Chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees will hold it's regular monthly meeting at the Golden Years Center on Sept. 12 at 12:30 p.m. Speaker will be Paul Howard, Utah State Federation vice president. Chapter President Boyd Ivory stated that the local chapter meets on the second Monday of each month and all federal retirees residing in the south Davis area are invited to attend. Ur) Mountain Bed Bountiful Will Lend Space To 4th Court Bountiful BOUNTIFUL City has agreed to lease space in the citys public safety building at 745 S. Main Street for the Fourth Circuit Court. The court has been operatihg in the building for a number of years. But the city has reached terms for a new lease agreement. 1 The city will lease 2,900 square feet of space at $22,900 for the coming year, according to Bountiful City Manager Tom Hardy. Payment, Hardy said, will be made in two paysemi-annu- al ments. Hardy said the agreement will be subject to renewal on a year to year basis. s He said rates for the lease were set by the state building code. The rates were acceptable to the states's court administrator, Hardy said. He said the cost for leasing the space is a little bit more than last year.
