Lelia passed Genoeva Eva Flores 95 passed away (khoa, age May 23. 2(X)3 at her home. She was born June 14, 1907 in Santa Fe. N.M., to Gregorio and Mary Basilia Flores. Married Leandro Ochoa Nov. 20, 1944 in Santa Fe, N.M. He died March 21, 1976. Preceded in death by parents; hus Lee Roy Springer Sr. ELKO, Nev. - Lee Roy Springer Sr., 98, passed away May 20, 2003 in Elko, Nev. He was born Jan. 26, 1905 in Mayfield. Ky., to Henry Irwin and Bertha May Bemment Springer. He married Juanita Duran on Feb.2, 1926; Esther Miller on Oct. 21, 1936; and Leota Anderson on Aus. 28, 1986. a Our dad, grandpa, and friend has Gone fishinV Dad worked hard for the gieater part of his life. On Feb. 6. 1942, she married Grant I lobbs Wallace in Price. After this union, she often joked about being "full of Ls". Their marriage w as later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. During her life with Grant. Lelia lived in Ohio. West Virginia, Utah and Wy oming. finally returning to stay in Price. Lelia had great musical talent and could play the clarinet and piano by ear. She always sang to her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Her favorite song was You Are My Sunshine." Lelia and Grant had four children;-Rita (Robert) Martin of Salt Lake City; Karen (Michael) Krpan of Price; Scott G Wallace of Green River, Wyo.; and F.mily Wallace of Price. She is survived by her children, seven grandchildien and 13 survived by sisters Hana Winn. PRICE- - Cordelia DecDee Alaniz, our precious baby giil, was stillborn May 19. 2003. She was our hopes and Mitchley, Bob and Jessie 1948, having recently celebrated their 55th anniver1, sary. Billie graduated from Carbon High School in 1944. Her sister. Bobbie waited one year after graduating high school and worked at McGonigals Drug Store until Billie graduated high school so they could join the Cadet Nurse Corps together. They graduated from Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City in 1947. Billie was a registered nurse at the Price Hospital, worked as a'nurse for several different doctors, was the head nurse at the Carbon County Nursing Home in Price and also at the Emery County Nursing Home in Ferron. Bill went back to school and graduated from CEU with an associates degree and from Utah State with a bachelor of art's degree in 1971. She also completed her M. Ed. from BYU ill 1979. This was a great sacrifice and a major accomplish-njen- t in her life. J She worked for mental health afld then later for vocational rehabilitation as a counselor. v Billie w;as one of the most caring people anyone would ever meet. She spent her life helping others. fShe was an active member of the LDS Church and was a (so a member of the American bourses Assoc, and the Utah Sfate Nurses Assoc. She had been involved in leadership in the Utah State Nurses Assoc. I Her family and friends al- ways came first. She was ways ready and willing to help anyone in need and had an impact on everyone who came in contact with her. A cancer survivor having gone through three tough rounds of chemotherapy and congestive heart failure three years ago, she had been a vol- al- stand for a couple summers, in- cluding food preparation and pastries. She even tiied her hand at playing golf somewhat. She was a past member of the Grassy Trail Riding Club of Sunny side. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her family and many longtime friends.
